Our story

Having worked in low income areas in Kenya since 2015, through my role as Professor of Sociology at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland, the extent to which community groups help and empower a huge range of people through the types of activities they are involved with is truly inspiring. From supporting young mothers and babies to helping older generations with accommodation, livelihoods and food, the variety of projects is something we want to highlight. By selecting different types of projects, we hope to provide you with opportunities to help with social, environmental, cultural and economic issues that you feel passionate about.
